New Outreach Initiatives Announced
Guest Blogger KB Goodkin, Director of Community Engagement and Advancement
My job is to cultivate relationships between the affiliated and unaffiliated members of the Jewish community and the organizations that serve them. One thing I have learned, above all, is that whether it’s within institutional Judaism or in an immersive learning or Jew-ISH culture, it’s critical to create positive associations with Judaism and the community at large.
In response to the feedback from the Strategic Plan
and in an attempt to help create those very necessary positive associations, I am delighted to announce that we will launch a new initiative this month. The Community Engagement Package (CEP) works in partnership with all of our congregations and agencies, to create opportunities to team up on dynamic programming, professional and lay training, and new portals for online exposure.
I am super excited to have these amazing new vehicles to strengthen our community. With your partnership, we are working hard to continue building a vibrant Jewish Community here in the Capital Region.
