50-Year Special: Relive the Six Day War

June 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the Six Day War (June 5-10, 1967) between Israel and the surrounding Arab countries.  The war altered Israel, the Middle East and Jewish history, and some of its results remain unfinished.

Starting on May 17, experience the dramatic events of 1967 with a series of 2-3 minute videos will give viewers a “You Are There” look at the events of 50 years ago based on archival footage and academic research.  There will be one video a week for three weeks, and then one-a-day beginning on June 4.  Viewers will experience the events of May and June 1967 as they unfolded, learning about the key players, their motives and the maneuvers that led to the war and its outcome.  

The videos will be released on 5/17, 5/24, 5/30, and 6/4-6/12.
