Israel @ 70
Please watch this
2:48 video by Chloe Valdary. In this brief video, Chloe talks about her love of Jews (even though she is not one) and her love of Israel. She is a millennial and she speaks like one. Her videos are incredibly entertaining, and she advocates against anti-Semitism and anti-Israel.
In addition to the several videos featuring Chloe, Jerusalem U offers many short videos featuring a variety of pro-Israel topics. Almost a year ago, they featured an outstanding series on the Six Day War. More recently, they started a series called “Hear Me Roar,” presenting a variety of young people explaining how they overcame life’s obstacles. If you have time, please check out Jerusalem U’s YouTube channel
Meanwhile, I am so excited to welcome Chloe to our community this Tuesday evening. While our Women’s Philanthropy is sponsoring the event, both men and women are invited. If you have not yet, register here
. Please note, although everyone is welcome to attend, and donations are not required, everyone will have the opportunity to make a gift, as is customary at all of our Women’s Philanthropy events.
Continuing with our Zionist theme this year, in celebration of Israel’s 70th
birthday, we will celebrate together at our annual Yom Ha’atzmaut event a week later on Wednesday, April 18. More information is available here
On June 3, we will again be participating in the Israel Day Parade in New York City. It was a lot of fun last year. More information to follow, but please mark your calendars.
Finally, we have a couple of Israel trips coming up: October 2018 and February 2019. More information to follow on these as well.
