This year’s Award Ceremony again will be virtual, via Zoom (https://albany.zoom.us/j/93274806663).  Winning students, their families and sponsoring teachers are invited, along with members of the public.  Students read their essays.  To accommodate the virtual format, we mail cash prizes and certificates of accomplishment.  Certificates are suitable for framing, and for students' use to support applications for college and/or jobs.  The Zoom event will be recorded, and resulting url links will be provided to participants, as well as to public access TV stations for possible broadcast.

Assembly Member Phil Steck, who has been a long-time supporter of the Holocaust Essay Contest, also is scheduled to speak.
