Classical Orchestra in the 2020s: An open discussion with Maestro Glen Cortese
of the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra

Maestro Cortese will discuss the importance of orchestral music in our lives, the value of an orchestra as a cultural resource in the community, and what it is like to have a life in music.

GLEN CORTESE is artistic director of the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra. He has served many seasons as music director for the Western New York Chamber, also as music director for the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra for twelve seasons, and was named music director emeritus of the Oregon Mozart Players after serving as artistic director for nine seasons.

NOTE: There will be a door prize of two tickets to the Sunday, April 3, 2022, Schenectady Symphony Orchestra program!
