Leading up to the holiday of Shavuot, participants will embrace the traditions of feasting on dairy and wheat by making bourekas, the flaky pockets of dough wrapped around a slightly sweet cheese filling. Bourekas is also known as sambousek in some global Jewish communities. Participants will be provided a shopping list, a materials list and recipes for the class.
