Became interested in the Right to Die movement after watching my mother suffer for eleven months with cancer. Long involved with Compassion & Choices and FEN (Final Exit)

At this time eleven states and DC have PAD (Physician Aid in Dying laws). Bills have been presented for consideration in NYS for several years. This year, there is growing support for this law.

FEN focuses on enabling the patient and has a rigorous intake/interview process. Compassion & Choices, working with Death with Dignity NY, works toward a legislative solution.
