Hanukkah is right around the corner! Come celebrate with our congregation at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 9. In addition to a potluck dinner, our Jewish Life Coordinator Jack Mintzer has some fun activities planned. Come join us and make some memories!
What’s planned?
- A performance by our Jewish Community School @ CBS students; plus all students will receive a Hanukkah treat bag
- A Major League Dreidel contest, where you can show off your spinning skills
- An Ugly Hanukkah Sweater contest
- A viewing of the largest dreidel in the Capital District
- A homemade menorah contest—put your creative ideas on display!
- A Hanukkah photo op so you can preserve your memories of the night
- Gift bags for kids
Bring your own menorah and join the congregation in a communal menorah lighting, dreidel playing and of course great food. Traditional latkes and jelly doughnuts will be served.
The dinner is potluck so bring your tastiest dish for all to enjoy.
We hope to see everyone there. This will be our biggest program for 2023.
