Mussar is a code of Jewish spiritual ethics and practices that date back to the tenth century. Mussar offers concrete instructions on how to lead a meaningful and ethical life that benefits the individual as well as those around us; and that ultimately leads to awareness, wisdom and transformation.

Presenter: Alan Breindel, an active member of Temple B'nai Jeshurun in Short Hills, New Jersey leads small groups in the study and practice of Mussar. He is also the author of Through the Darkness, a play that retells the stories of four courageous and resilient young people who made life and death decisions to pursue freedom and escape the Holocaust.
