Sex in Jewish Text presented by Temple Israel's JLC Program

Jewish texts have much to say about sex and sexuality, some of it in plain sight and some of it hidden. Using a range of Jewish texts, we will explore a selection of covert and overt approaches to and stories of sex and sexuality. By both diving into the text and connecting it to our Jewish past, present, and future, this course offers an opportunity to see different Jewish perspectives on sex, sexuality, and how they play out in our text, tradition, and experiences. This class is for those who enjoy the reverent and the raunchy.
