For clergy and professional staff leading our local organizations, this seminar will explore our roles as agents of change and sources of stability. Using proven tools and methodologies, David will guide us through managing real world challenges and triumphs we face within our organizations and how we can surmount them.  Cost is $50/participant with kosher lunch for all three sessions.

David S. Liebschutz is the principal of DSLeadership, LLC, a consulting and coaching firm specializing in leadership training and long-term planning.  He has worked extensively within the Jewish and larger communities advising organizations on strategic planning and coaching executive and management staff.  In addition, he is a visiting professor of business at Siena College, where he teaches courses in economics and management and has worked with the Albany Catholic Diocese on training leaders with a trauma informed perspective.  He was a long-term public service professor at the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs, where he taught graduate finance and undergraduate leadership courses.  He is the author of numerous academic articles and co-wrote the book State Tax Relief for the Poor, and serves on several volunteer boards and committees.  Mr. Liebschutz is a former Hillel Foundation executive director (2000-2004 at the University at Albany) and a past-president and rabbinic search committee chair of B’nai Sholom Reform Congregation in Albany.   He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from Yale University and holds law and policy degrees from Duke University.
