Join us for a hilarious, insightful, and compelling evening with actress and author Tovah Feldshuh. In her illuminating memoir, Lilyville: Mother, Daughter, and Other Roles I’ve Played, Tovah shares the highs and lows of a remarkable career. She shares lessons about how to live a life in the spotlight, strive for excellence, and still get along with your mother!

While Lily (Tovah’s mom) focused on her husband and two children retreating into the roles of the perfect housewife and mother, Tovah swore to herself, “I will never do this.” Through their evolving relationship, we see how expectations for women changed.

Tovah will be interviewed by Joe Donahue, award-winning host of WAMC Northeast Public Radio’s “The Roundtable.” For over 35 years, Joe has been widely recognized for fostering insightful, thought-provoking conversations. He offers his listeners some of the world's most fascinating people and subjects, is a lifelong advocate of reading and writers, and hosts the nationally syndicated The Book Show

Tovah is a six-time Emmy & Tony nominee and has been awarded three honorary Doctorates of Humane Letters. She also has won many other theatrical awards.
