Yesod, the Hebrew word for foundation, aptly describes a vital initiative of the JFNA Mandel Center for Leadership Excellence in collaboration with the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning. The Yesod Curriculum is built upon the knowledge and skills a leader needs to be effective. The curriculum was developed through the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning and was written by Dr Erica Brown. Course content will merge Judaic text study, business skills, leadership theory and experiential application and we are running Yesod 2.0 beginning in January!!
We are so excited to be able to provide this amazing nationally created leadership program for the second year in a row to help build the lay leadership of all of our local area partners! For nomination or participation information, please contact KB Goodkin.

Join Women’s Philanthropy as we partner with the Engagement Department to bring some incredible Women Only opportunities inside the Federation building in 2016/17! Women’s Self-defense, Jewish Yoga, Women in the bible, and a new Women’s Professional Network are all part and parcel of this incredible new initiative!
As a CEP partner, you will receive notifications throughout the year of FREE work¬shops presented by scholars, experts, and Jewish Pro’s from outside our local community usually called “CEP Executive Breakfast/ Lunch and Learn.”.Any member of your staff/board may participate at no cost to you.
If your organization isn’t sure yet of the kinds of tools your board, staff, and lay leaders need, using already built workshops and tailoring them to specific needs for each department is an easy start.
