Celebrating Yom Ha’atzmaut outdoors is a great Israeli tradition! Every year parks, beaches, and back yards are filled with people picnicking, BBQing, singing, and socializing. Given our unusual reality, we would like to recreate this great tradition and allow small, socially distant groups to celebrate Israel’s birthday meaningfully and safely—outdoors or indoors.
The Yom Ha’atzmaut Israeli Picnic Experience contains a picnic blanket/tablecloth (suitable for both) with links to virtual resources and physical, typical Israeli games.
Each “kit” contains:
- Designed blanket
- Link to Israeli playlist
- Link to Israeli picnic recipes
- “Five stones” game
- “gulot” Israeli marbles
- “Safta’s knitting” game
- Shesh besh
- Matkot
And instructions on how to use all of these outdoors or indoors.
