Raising Resilience: How to Help Our Children Thrive in Times of Uncertainty
An Afternoon with Author Tovah Klein
Uncertainty is a given in life; Jewish parents face an added layer of uncertainty and worry as we help children face growing antisemitism.
Tovah P. Klein, Ph.D., a child development expert, psychology professor and author of bestseller Raising Resilience gives parents the confidence they need to help children and teens face life's adversities and challenges, including learning obstacles, peers and the social world, facing antisemitism and hate, or mental health struggles so they can build resilience and flourish in an unpredictable ever-changing world.
Accessible and compassionate, join us for a talk that aims to show parents, grandparents and people who are in relationship or work with children from toddlers to young adults, how to support and raise children who grow to be resourceful, caring and motivated to build meaningful thriving relationships and lives.
This program is open to the community and is best suited for an adult audience. Copies of Raising Resilience will be available for purchase for $15 per copy, and Tovah will be signing books. Light refreshments will be served.
