Crisis Relief

Federation is there in times of crisis when you need us most. We provide a lifeline for Jews and non-Jews in distress, at home, in Israel and across the globe. Whether it’s in response to attacks on synagogues and Jewish life, missiles raining down on Israel’s south, Hurricane Harvey in Houston or the COVID-19 global pandemic, Federation is there to help — and to rebuild.

Open Relief Funds:

As we continue responding to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, we are also working with communities impacted by Hurricane Milton. In response, we’ve expanded our efforts and the relief fund to collect urgently needed resources for those affected by both storms.

Jewish Federations are committed to ensuring that Jewish communities and others in the affected areas receive the critical assistance they need. Your contributions will support essential recovery, aid, and rebuilding efforts.

We urgently need your help to support these communities. Please consider donating to the Jewish Federations Hurricane Relief Fund to provide vital aid and resources for those in need.

On October 7, 2023, during the holiday of Shmini Atzeret, Hamas terrorists launched an unprecedented attack on Israel from Gaza, firing thousands of rockets, breaching the country’s borders, with significant numbers killed and hospitalized. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel was at war to defend itself and gave the order for the IDF to commence "Operation Swords of Iron.”

Jewish Federations are responding, working with our core partners to support victims of terror, help rebuild damaged infrastructure, and address the unprecedent levels of trauma caused by this horrific attack.

Now, more than ever, they need your support. Israel will prevail and the Jewish people will stand together as we always do. Am Yisrael Chai.
