Remember enjoying refuge in the heated tent at last year’s Chanukah on Jay celebration? Good news—the forecast calls for 50 degrees this Sunday. The bad news, however, is that the warm weather comes with nearly 100% chance of rain and high winds.
So, we’re taking Chanukah off Jay this Sunday into Key Hall at Proctors.
This has been a tough week for our community, with the challenges at the Bethlehem Public Library earlier in the week and gunfire outside of Temple Israel yesterday. Fortunately, no one has been injured, and Governor Hochul and all levels of law enforcement have been incredibly supportive. Schenectady police will be waiting for us at Proctors on Sunday.
During these difficult times, it is important for us to strengthen one another. Sunday will provide an excellent opportunity. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
