Two of our children and a grandchild live in Israel. One of them visited for Passover, and yesterday, I brought him to EWR Terminal B for his flight home.
People often ask how I feel about having kids in Israel. I always say, with pride, “if you raise Zionists, you can’t be surprised when they make Aliyah.”
On Yom Ha’Atzmaut, our family group chat was filled with photos of all of our grandkids in blue and white, waving Israeli flags. I joked, “Today it’s blue and white outfits; tomorrow, you’re dropping them off at Terminal B.”
Community Shabbat dinner is one week from tonight—please register by Sunday. It helps us plan properly for services, security, ushers and, of course, enough chicken.
