Israel at War

This has been another difficult week—especially for those in Israel and for all of us with loved ones there. We continue to pray that Israel’s military objectives are achieved swiftly, and a new lasting peace will embrace the region.

Although Ben Gurion Airport remains officially closed to passenger travel, Israel is actively conducting rescue missions bringing its citizens home from abroad and helping tourists return to their countries. One remarkable story this week involves approximately 1,500 Birthright participants who departed Israel by cruise ship to Cyprus before eventually flying back to the United States.

If you have loved ones who are currently stranded in Israel, please reach out. We will do our best to assist however we can.

Many of you have asked about the launch of a new Israel Emergency Campaign. Until now, my response has been “Not yet, but I’ll keep you posted.” As of this morning, we’ve received word that such a campaign will be launched. However, details are still forthcoming, and I will share more information as soon as it becomes available.

On the home front, we continue to coordinate closely with our security partners and law enforcement to ensure the safety of our community. While there are no known or specific threats at this time, we’ve been advised to remain vigilant and maintain heightened awareness.

In moments like these, our strength lies in unity—supporting one another, staying informed, and standing together with unwavering resolve.
