The documentary OCTOBER 8 explores the global surge of antisemitism that followed the atrocities of October 7, 2023. The film had a limited U.S. theatrical release and was shown in our community for just a couple of weeks.
In partnership with our friends at the Capital District Jewish Holocaust Memorial and Amidah—and thanks to the generosity of a special donor—we are bringing this powerful and timely film back for a one-night screening on September 15. A panel discussion will follow the film.
While the documentary avoids graphic footage, it addresses deeply disturbing topics.
For that reason, we recommend it only for high school students and older. Please consider bringing friends, neighbors, school leaders, elected officials, anyone who could benefit from a deeper understanding of the antisemitism that continues to surge around the world.
While all are welcome, registration is required. [Please click here to register.]
For the first time, our venue will be the spacious auditorium at SUNY Schenectady. If you’ve never been, the campus is easy to reach, offers ample parking, and will be clearly signed.
Please don’t miss this important evening.
