Temple Sinai is a Reform congregation with a warm approach to Jewish tradition. We have a congregation of over 170 families with a religious school program serving nearly 150 children from pre-school through tenth grade. We offer regular Shabbat and holiday services, adult education, three youth groups “Tot Shabbats” nursing home services, a Rosh Hodesh Group, special events, and in summer, Adirondack Shabbat Worship experiences. The synagogue is located in an historic 1880’s home on Broadway in downtown Saratoga Springs, augmented by a classroom and meeting space addition built in 1996.

Congregation Beth Emeth, Albany’s oldest Jewish congregation, is the fourth oldest Reform congregation in America. Even though we are 163 years old, we are an active and vibrant congregation. We have an active Brotherhood, Sisterhood, and youth group, as well as a nationally respected religious school. Our members are actively involved in the St. Patrick’s Day Soup Kitchen, the Focus Food Pantry, and the New Americans Program. We are also actively involved in interreligious affairs in the Albany community.
