Every Sunday, 52 weeks of the year, Beth Emeth runs a soup kitchen located at the Sister Maureen Joyce Center at 369 Livingston Avenue (corner of Livingston & Thornton) in Albany. The soup kitchen serves members of the community who need a hot meal and a place to go.

Volunteers work from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM preparing and distributing the meal as well as cleaning up. We need one trained crew chief and at least 7 volunteers each Sunday. No children under the age of 10 are permitted to be volunteers due to safety concerns.
