On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, a leadership delegation from Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York participated on a Mission to Washington. This was a spectacular day of advocacy on issues of American Jewish domestic and Israel concern. The itinerary included briefings by AIPAC, members of Congress, the White House, The Jewish Policy Center, The Jewish Coalition for Public Affairs, and the Jordanian Embassy.

400 people came together to celebrate Israel’s 65th birthday at the Israeli dance festival and Yom Haatzmaut celebration! Featured special guests were the B’Yachad Dance Troupe from Brandeis University, music & dancing with the Rami Strosberg Orchestra, our new “Shaliach” from Israel, and lots of food, fun, & friends!

The Israel Experience is a financial incentive program administered by Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York. Its purpose is to help provide Jewish youth with financial means to visit and study in Israel.
