Award-winning teacher and historian, Matthew Rozell, will give a presentation about the iconic 1945 photograph, which records the true account of Holocaust survivors left to die on a train in Nazi Germany and the American soldiers that liberated them. Rozell has helped to reunite the soldiers with the people that they saved six decades after that fateful morning. Rozell's book, A Train Near Magdeburg, A Teacher's Journey into the Holocaust and the Reuniting of the Survivors and Liberators 70 Years On is being made into a documentary film.
