Throughout the Covid-19 crisis, B’nos Israel Mikvah’s doors have remained open to the women of our community. Although we already maintained highest standards for cleanliness, we moved quickly to adapt to national safety recommendations for mikvahs. In these uncertain times, the women of the Capital District and beyond have been able to depend on our mikvah to be safe and open.
The B’nos Israel Mikvah is a vital community institution, essential for maintaining a vibrant Jewish community in the Capital District. As a cornerstone of the Jewish tradition, a Mikvah represents a continuation for the generations of the Jewish people. In addition to the women who use it monthly for family purity, B’nos Israel opens its doors to brides and tour groups. We also serve those who are converting to Judaism, and accommodate travelers from afar, such as Montreal, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
We are asking for your financial support to help us keep the Mikvah an operational and beautiful place for all its users.
