Saratoga Jewish Community Arts with a grant from Jewish Federation of NENY and Temple Sinai presents a panel discussion for this film.
The true story of Fanny and her younger sisters, who in 1943 were sent from their home in France to an Italian foster home for Jewish children. Once the Nazi arrive, their caretakers desperately organize the departure of the children to Switzerland. They are suddenly left alone. Fanny leads the 11 to reach the freedom of the Seiss border. A film that brings the history of the period in way that is manageable to a younger generation.
All the films in our virtual film discussion series can be viewed on various platforms (ex. Netflix, YouTube, Prime, etc.) you should watch the film prior to the discussion zoom meeting.
