Members of Temple Sinai of Saratoga Springs welcome the community to the celebration of Rabbis Linda Motzkin and Jonathan Rubenstein for their 36 years of joint leadership of the congregation and support to the wider Saratoga community.
 
The dinner gala will be held in Saratoga Springs on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 5-9 p.m. 
 
The celebration is a Double Chai event, denoting the emphasis the Jewish community places in number 18. In Jewish tradition, the number 18 symbolizes "chai," Hebrew for "life." Celebrating a multiple of 18 is a way to symbolically honor the rabbis long commitment to Temple Sinai and wish them a long and happy retirement.
