The Jewish Changemakers Fellowship is a leadership development experience for Jewish young adults between the ages of 20 and 24 that focuses on career development, networking, and making a difference in the community. The program begins with a 3-week summer intensive, after which Changemakers alumni gain access to ongoing opportunities for leadership, mentoring, career advancement, and community engagement. Through the fellowship and alumni engagement, Changemakers grow their skills and contacts needed for success in a competitive job market.
As the world begins to recover from the worst public health crisis in a generation, Changemakers are the leaders confronting the most timely and pressing issues of the day, activating their Jewish values to bring to life their vision for a better, fairer society.
Participants who achieve the program requirements of approximately 12 hours a week for three weeks earn a certificate of completion and a $350 stipend.
The Changemaker curriculum covers three themes:
- Professional Development – your career
- Global Jewish Community – your world
- Service & Advocacy – your community. Jewish values and ideas are woven throughout.
Applications open next Wednesday, 4/21. Please share widely and encourage young leaders in your community to apply!
The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and NJHSA are providing this experience in collaboration with local Federations and more than 20 North American and global Jewish community partners.
