In addition to the year-end solicitation emails, there are the year-in-review emails. For the sake of brevity, I’ll share two numbers that speak to Federation’s mission, purpose, and success: 225 & 1.

“One” represents the estimated 1,000 people who attended Chanukah on Jay this year, addressing our mission imperative of “building a strong and united Jewish community.” We partnered with more than twenty Jewish community organizations, as well as corporate and municipal supporters, for our one Jewish community.

“225” represents the $225,000 raised in our community for Ukraine relief, addressing our mission imperative of “meeting Jewish needs … around the world.” Our community saw the need and stepped up.
